By shopping with us, browsing our digital shelves, or joining the Sweet and Spicy Club, you’re agreeing to the following terms and conditions. We kept it warm, human, and clear—obviously.

2. Orders, Fulfillment & Our Ecosystem

We operate on a low-inventory, highly intentional business model to keep things sustainable and special:

• Curated Boxes: Our themed and representation-centered book boxes are sold in limited, small-batch runs.

• Print-on-Demand Swag: Our merchandise is custom-printed on-demand via Printful. Because your apparel or mugs are made specifically for you when you order, items within the same purchase may ship separately.

• Timelines: Shipping timelines vary depending on the product, especially for preorders, custom items, or Canadian transit realities. You will receive a branded confirmation email when your order is placed and tracking information the second your package is on the move.

While we curate with heart, we cannot guarantee item availability or delivery by a rigid date unless explicitly stated.

3. Returns & Refunds

All sales are final. Because our book boxes are small-batch and limited-edition, and our bookish goods are printed to order just for you, we cannot accept returns or exchanges for buyer's remorse.

However, we want your unboxing experience to feel like a treat. If an item arrives damaged or incorrect because its journey across Canada was a little too chaotic, we've got you:

• Email us at help@flippinhearts.ca within 7 days of delivery.

• Include your order number and a quick photo of the issue, and we will do our absolute best to make it right.

4. Prices & Payment

All prices are listed in CAD. We love keeping our collection fresh, which means we reserve the right to update pricing, product descriptions, or swap out featured items at any time without prior notice. Payment is due securely at checkout via Shopify’s trusted payment platforms.

5. Intellectual Property

We pour a lot of love, curation, and personality into this brand. All content on this site—including our text, product descriptions, brand voice formulas, photography, color palettes, and our official mascot, Arthur the Otter Author—is the property of Flippin’ Hearts Bookstore.

We absolutely love when you screenshot or share our graphics to hype up inclusive romance on Threads, but please don't reuse or reproduce our designs for commercial use without asking first.

6. User Behavior & Community Standards

At Flippin' Hearts, inclusion is part of our foundation. Whether you are hanging out on our website or chatting with us on Instagram Threads, we expect our readers to be respectful.

We stand for stories that reflect a wide range of identities, bodies, and lived experiences. Do not use our platform or community spaces to spread hate, discrimination, or harmful behavior. If we notice misuse or abusive behavior, we reserve the right to cancel your access, subscription, or order immediately.
